At Deen Discovery, we believe that learning about Islam should be an enjoyable experience for children. We have developed a curriculum that combines essential knowledge with interactive activities, enabling children to connect with the teachings of Islam in a meaningful manner. We aim to make every session both educational and entertaining, ensuring that children look forward to attending and eagerly participate in the activities.
This space is an opportunity for children to come and have fun with other Muslims and learn about the deen in a fun environment.

Children are grouped according to their age. We have
Asfar Class: Early Years – reception
Akhdar Class: KS1 – year 1 & year 2
Ahmar Class: KS2 – year 3- year 6
Curriculum
Parents will have access to the scheme of work and topics that will be covered and we will ensure to keep you updated on your child’s progress inshaAllah.
We teach: Islamic Studies, Quran, Duaas, Hadiths
Please note: We are a Club, not a Madrasah.
Quraan learning focuses on practice and gentle development rather than formal progression, as this is a club and not a madrasah.
Overview of a session
5:00 – 5:20 PM | Starter Session
We begin with a short and focused starter session, which may include Quran recitation, Qaidah practice, or Arabic learning.
5:20 – 5:50 PM | Focused Learning
This time is dedicated to the topic of the day, allowing children to explore and understand key concepts in a structured way, linked with stories of our Prophets, Ayah’s from the Quran and Hadiths.
5:50 – 6:15 PM | Activity Time
Our activity session is the highlight of the day! Children take part in engaging and creative activities – from arts and crafts, cooking, and sports to exploring the outdoors.
6:15 – 6:30 PM | Snack Time
We end with a light snack, giving the children a chance to relax and chat with their friends. All snacks must be strictly Nut free.
Additional Notes for Parents:
Children also pray Salah together during the session, with prayer times adjusted according to the season.

While we follow this general routine to give children a sense of structure, every session is uniquely planned to match their interests and needs and no two sessions are the same!
